BC Hydro is British Columbia's main electricity provider serving 1.8 million customers in most areas. Electricity is delivered through a network of 18,286 kilometers of transmission lines and 55,254 kilometers of distribution lines.

Part of SPARQ's electrical engineering service offerings is providing design/build services to individuals and businesses looking to install or upgrade their existing primary services. SPARQ provides detailed private power line design drawing packages that meet the requirements of BC Hydro standards and is fluent in their permitting process. SPARQ will execute any primary construction that can be facilitated outside of the BC Hydro scope of work.
